My sincere congratulations to the clubs and members who are dedicated to the organization of celebrating the 35th Anniversary. For over 30 years, there were a few changes in the Club. The seniors have suffered so much to maintain the Club after leaving the M.Y.M.C.A premises and Singapore Scout Association. There was a change in Chief instructors as Sensei Hui Yew Kok resigned and immigrated to Canada.
The purpose of the Club is not growing up professionals but to grow up physically, spiritually strong and healthy minded person through Karate-do training. This 35th celebration shows continuity of co-operation and co-ordination amongst the seniors for on going friendship and for the goodness of Goju-Ryu and Goju-Kai activities. This heals my heart and I wish I could meet all of you again at the celebration.
Karate-do life brought me many treasures and I would say that one of the most precious one is “You”. Again, my heartiest gratitude to all of you who rendered the hands to the success of this function.
